POP ROCKET SIGNS AFFILIATE LABEL
AGREEMENT WITH ELECTRONIC ARTS

SAN FRANCISCO, California (July 27, 1992) - Pop Rocket Inc., a developer and publisher of interactive media, located in San Francisco, has signed an affiliate label agreement with Electronic Arts Distribution (EAD). EAD is the leading distributor of entertainment software.

Pop Rocket teamed up with EAD to take advantage of their strong distribution channels, regional sales team, and press-relations capabilities. "Pop Rocket is a small company, we wanted to team up with an experienced company who displayed enthusiasm and vision for our CD-ROM titles. As an affiliate of Electronic Arts, we have the muscle to make our products a mass-market product across North America," said Joe Sparks, president of Pop Rocket.

"As we bring the best of the CD-ROM publishers into our AL program, Electronic Arts will work with retailers to develop this important new product category," said Nancy Smith, vice president of sales. "This program will help ensure that Electronic Arts and our affiliated publishers maintain a market-leading position in interactive media."

Total Distortion, Pop Rocket's first CD-ROM title, represents a completely new category of entertainment software. Total Distortion is a Music Video Adventure Game. Users can explore a full-color, 3D world filled with high-energy rock music, interactivity, and amazing animation. Innovative software devices allow you to quickly assemble music videos & hilarious TV programs, navigate to far-out locations, and interact with radical adolescents, underground punks, metal heads, and Gothic mutants.

Pop Rocket╣s Total Distortion, will be distributed in North America by Electronic Arts. The Macintosh and Windows versions will be available in Summer, 1995. Pop Rocket will continue to develop entertainment titles for the Apple Macintosh, Windows personal computers, PowerPC and other home entertainment systems.
